So every second of everyday, God is turning me into a girly girl. I like pink. In fact I love pink and I can’t take credit for that; it is the work of the blood. So a couple of weeks ago I bought myself midi rings. If you are my friend and you’ve never suggested I get midis…we have to talk. They are the cutest things since Tellitubies 🙂
Last Saturday I had to a grad party to attend. Feeling rather excited, I woke up that morning and washed my hair…little did I know that the braai (barbeque) area would be close to where we would hang for the afternoon. Because of all the smoke, I was forced to either put on a hat or wash my hair again that evening…option two was just too bleak so I decided to wear a hat. Now I don’t usually wear hats. Hats to me were no go areas because I just didn’t think they suited me but I soon learnt that not all hats are the same. Last Saturday I fell in love with fedoras so I thought I should share a couple of looks that I would love to try out 🙂
I must first confess. I am not a fan of skirts. Wearing them throughout my school life was more than enough for me. However, the A-Line skirt has caught my eye. I love the way it flows, the way it’s roundedness is is made subtle by the pleats. I love how it looks. I have not yet tried it myself but I’m getting there 🙂
These are by far the most elegant yet most painful shoes that a girl can wear. Most heels are pretty steep and unlike platforms, theres no support but I would pick them over any other heel all day everyday! They have this incredible ability of making jeans and a top look better. Whether they’re plain or studded, black or white, red bottoms or black bottoms, they always come winning!
